\nStitch markers<\/p>\n
\nCast on: 42 (48, 54, 60, 66) and join into a round.
\nBrim: Rib stitch 1:1 until brim measure 1(2,2,2.5,2.5) from cast on edge.
\nBody of Hat: At the beginning of your round stockinette stitch as many rows as it takes for the hat to measure 4(5, 6, 7, 7.5).<\/p>\n
\nRow 2- *knit 5 (6,7,8,9) k2tog*, a total of 6 times
\nRow 3- knit around
\nRow 4- *Knit 4 (5,6,7,8) k2tog*, a total of 6 times
\nRow 5- knit around
\nRow 6- *Knit 3 (4,5,6,7) k2tog*, a total of 6 times
\nContinue above pattern until you have 6 stitches on your needles. Every row will decrease 6 stitches at this point so the next row will be *knit 2 (3,4,5,6) k2tog* a total of 6 times. When you get to six stitches get a darning needle and transfer the stitches purl wise onto the needle. Pull the yarn through. Weave in your ends and add a pompom.
